Summer is here and Beaver Cross Camp is well underway. Last week, we had our first overnight group with the “Discipleship ” week. This high school aged group enjoyed a week of classic summer fun, some new fangled camp games, and served the Greenwich community through the local “Food for Kids” program. Most significantly, these campers were deeply touched by our Lord Jesus Christ. Through our daily bible studies on intimacy with Jesus, we witnessed a number of lights go off above our campers heads. At cabin meeting, one of the campers told Father Tyler, “This is the best day of my life, I finally get that following God is worth it because it’s having a relationship with a real person”! We saw many campers gain a new freedom we had never seen in them before. We are overjoyed to say the least!
Please keep our amazing team in your prayers. These incredible young counselors have committed their summers to serve the youth, and be a witness for Christ in both their words and their actions. Pray for their continual joy and refreshing in the Lord.
